Borderlands 2 level cap9/11/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() There are many others ofc, but these are pretty easy to farm and are very solid on most characters. Rubi with slag element for slagging and healing (Can get in normal mode tbh) Some notable weapons to get to help you in UVHM are: That way you don't get the XP from 10+ kills from lets say Savage Lee to get a Harold, and so on. I reccomend trying to be around lvl 50 when ending TVHM, then after warrior kill do some read-only farming in TVHM. If you get to level 55 in TVHM enemies will be lvl 55 in UVHM, but your TVHM gear will only be level 50, so you will feel very underpowered if you are not used to the UVHM difficulty. After you finish TVHM every mission and farming spots goes to lvl 50, so you can farm some lvl 50 gear for your start of UVHM. From TVHM to UVHM on the other hand you should really try to not go above 50-51. I usually end up somewhere between 33-36 depending on how much side missions and farming i do. At this point, youre in Playthrough 2.5, and you can cherry-pick the loot you want from the various missions you didnt accept during TVHM, and from the various DLCs. Going from normal to TVHM isn't that important. Just remember that, as the DLCs cap at level 35, youll be starting with level 35 gear. No matter where you are, no matter what you're doing, you should always be ready for. You can now do as much as you want in TVHM for story / achievements etc without going over 50.Įnable the DLC's again when you want to progress in UVHM. Borderlands 2: Level 72 - Level Cap Increase +11 Levels. If you have Lilith's with the 8 new levels, you will need to disable this as well. If you want to restrict the game to level 50, just disable both of the Vault Hunter Upgrade Packs. For PC users put the save files here: Documents/My Games/Borderlands 2/ SteamID64 number/Saves. Scarlett's for the Rapier for melee characters etc etc. First things first MAKE A BACKUP, if anything happens to your current saves due to any mistakes you make, that is on you. The others depend on their being useful gear for that character - Hammerlock's for the Rough Rider e.g. I generally do Tina's with all characters, Torgue too for easy Torgue tokens later on when your characters are in UVHM - bar room brawls in TVHM are much easier :) ![]() The xp from this will be very low and should not affect your progress in UVHM much.īecause of the amount of content, you have to restrict which DLC's you start in TVHM. However, once you are in UVHM there is nothing stopping you going back to normal or TVHM and filling in content for the story / achievements / whatever if you want to. You will not be able to complete all of the DLC's in normal or TVHM without going well over the recommended level 50 for starting UVHM. Gaining xp in normal will slow down after a certain point because the enemies are so low level compared to you, but there is no mechanism that will stop you gaining xp. Normal is capped at 35-ish on some of the DLC's. UVHM starts at 50 or whatever your level is if it is higher. ![]()
